The Recycling Subcommittee was created to expand recycling initiatives on campus. The goal of this committee is to promote the reduction, reuse, and recycling of waste materials. This is currently being accomplished through the utilization of a $50,000 Recycling Grant awarded to IUPUI from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. Monies from the grant will be used to purchase recycling centers for various buildings on campus and enhance education efforts.

Membership on this subcommittee is composed of representatives from various campus departments and schools. New members are always welcome to join the committee. Additional information may be found at Recycling at IUPUI.
